this was the fastest selling item i ever offered here..barely a minute.

haul "a something" is the best describtion for that crappy looking "original PORSCHE" part...after seeing the swb battery cover i thought it can`t get any worse...i was wrong .... they did not even try to make it look like original

Fortunately my own set is in even better condition.

I purchased this at the moment of publishing on 20:24 CET, but I was reacting to Franz’ Kleinanzeigen of 20:18 CET. So it could even have been sold before publishing in ESR terms .

Not to forget the hilarious rectangle SWB washer bottle they have been selling.

    are you talking to me?

was thinking about doing it but not sure if there is enought demand to break even within a reasonable time
scenario b could be rebuild existing ones....

I think Haul was talking to me. A few years ago (must have been just before COVID kicked in), I was looking at it and chatting about it with Haul. In a first instance, I would look into how to mold new rubber (as the factory did) around a used one. It is still on my list to go to Vosschemie (very close to me) to examine how we can do this, but this project simply did not survive any priority planning yet.
In terms of financials -, a breakeven would already be quite an achievement as it will take quite some time, efforts, materials and products to achieve perfection. So, we would all be happy if someone else reaches the end goal before us .

exactly voss provided me with the correct materials( i already worked with when i did prototypes and show models for automotiv industrie) and i already did a long term testing by strapping several samples under my car-- (currently the 3rd winter---so thats how long i`v been thinking about doing the thing)...just to be sure it keeps it`s properties even under the hashest austrian winter salty autobahn conditions...and italian summers....it is a tempting project but worst case scenario would be that porsche brings something on the market while i`m working on it(if i would have the time to 100% concentrate on it it would be a matter of 1 month to have tooling etc done)....even knowing that my product would be of better quality and looks--it would move the point of breaking even way further back---there is easier ways to make $$$
