    Targa Door Window Glass install - Help

    I have watched videos and read a number of posts - without success.

    For the life of me I can not get the regulator guides to go into the slots on the window bracket. I have put the regulator at half way and also tried all other ways to get the slots to align. I believe that everything is installed correctly - but I must have something wrong. Or backwards? The brackets have not been removed from the windows - which are original - as are the regulators. Door lock is installed, as is the regulator stop at the top. The bottom frame clamp is removed. I try putting the forward most guide in, but then the other will not align. It's a 73 Targa. Can anyone see something wrong? Is there a trick with a Targa?

    no problem.....
    take the 4 bolts that hold the window winder out and push the window winder into the door
    now you can wiggle and move the window carrier into position
    once you get it hooked up
    put the window winder back in place
