Is there a difference between SWB and LWB rear shocks? Are the lengths different or perhaps the mounting bushings require different sized bolts?

As far as I know, yes as an owner of a SWB. PP has red Koni's that will fit. The other option is coil overs or rebuild what you have. Pelican has them on sale through the end of the month and I'll probably order a pair for a 'look see.' Currently I have Boge's. Rear end bushings are on my list too. Wife's greenhouse and my metal 4 car roof depleted my fun money account. At least those are depletable...
Thank you! I'm guessing the lower bolts are a different diameter/thickness.

The double adjustable Koni rears you were seeking are shorter for use on lowered cars. Larger diameter lower bolts appeared around 72 I think.
Thank you, 66S. Yes, you connected my two posts perfectly.
My 68 is lower than stock ride height. but not like a track car with altered front spindle mounts, etc. However, I may still take a chance on them.

Koni 8040's are on sale at PP. A friend recommended Koni 8210's but I don't know if they will fit yet, can't find product info. I'll get around to pulling my Boge's off this week for a part #. The 67 here is low. Front has custom Koni's and the shop 'forgot' to write their # down when they did the Boxster brake upgrade. No raised spindles but it tracks true.
LWB rear shocks are longer than SWB shocks due to the longer distance from upper mount location to the pickup on banana arm. Installation into a SWB will nominally compress them which will limit total upward travel and thereby contact bump snubber in top of shock prematurely. A lowered car makes this worse.

Didn't know why, knew it though, and now know the reason. So, for myself, 8040's, rebuild the Boge's if I can or coil over?
Finally got my version of your plate. It'll probably get swapped out for a farm plate or my wife's old personal. Thanks for the input.
