    Sport seat alignment during installation

I have removed both seat side plates from the car, had them repainted and now re installed the side plates and the sports seats.

I know there is adjustment available on the outside plates.

Is there a correct method/way to adjust the outside plates so that the sports seats move freely again as are now difficult to slide back and fwd and they worked easily before re installation.

Clearly something is not parallel at current and hence hindering the sliding

I had the same problem. Try loosening the attachment bolts, either on the side plates or the tracks, just enough so that things can move around a bit, but not too loose.

Then slide the seat all the way forward and backward a couple of times so it can find the 'path of least resistance'.

Tighten it all up again when the seat is sliding freely. This worked for me.

Thanks Duncan as I think it is side plate related I will loosen them off and follow your lead.
