    '. . . 1971 Porsche 911S Targa is powered by a replacement 2.2-liter flat-six linked with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in black over tan leatherette. Equipment includes a removable roof panel, a stainless-steel Targa bar, H4 headlights, 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels, front sport seats, a cassette radio, and a heater. The seller purchased the car as a project in 2022, and subsequent work involved rebuilding the starter, performing a valve adjustment, and replacing the fuel pump, shifter bushings, torsion bar and rear sway bar bushings, and the windshield washer pump.This longhood 911S Targa is now offered in Massachusetts with a Porsche Production Specifications certificate, service records, spare parts, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The five-digit odometer shows 73k miles, approximately 90 of which were added under current ownership.

The fuel pump was replaced in 2023, while work in 2024 included rebuilding the starter, performing a valve adjustment, and replacing the spark plugs, fuel filter, fuel level sending unit, and engine insulation pad. Compression test results are viewable in the gallery. There are leaks, and the seller states the spark plug wires, ignition coil, and distributor require replacement. A receipt in the gallery indicates that the engine mounts are collapsed and the battery is not secured
