'65 Turn Signal Restoration Help - Where does the Ball Bearing GO?

I had my Turn Signal Stocks Rechromed. I was able to get one side back together. The Turn Signal has a Ball Bearing that I have no Idea where it came out of????? I have an extra set of Turn Signals, and I cannot see where it would go... I thought it might go between that piece and some contact rails, but it pops right out when operating the switch.

(I am fabricating the small Aluminum fasteners I destroyed when disassembling. I am making them out of 4mm Aluminum Rod. I have enough Rod to make about 200 pieces now....If anyone needs these?).
