    NOS Orange bar hood crest

    You know NOS stands for "New Old Stock" right? It's a great badge but that's a lot of road rash for something that's never seen the front of a car.

    What road rash are you seeing? Maybe a little shelf wear but the pins have no marks on them and the enamel has the usual irregularities. Looks NOS to me.

    Maybe the lighting on the last picture shows it badly but there seems to be chips, plating defects and pebbling on the enamel.

    Gorgeous crest, looks very original to me. If you don’t like it you better buy a new one

    Ahh Yeah , the crest police will detect all flaws. Too red for an orange bar crest, too gold to be old? At least it has solder on the pins
