    FS: 1970 Porsche 911T White/Beige Coupe

    Hi,

Listing my 1970 Porsche 911T that was owned by the same family since January of 1977 until recently. The car is a very honest driver with 110k miles, has always been garaged and looked after, original drive-train, older high quality re-paint in Ivory over Beige interior that still retains it's original seats, carpets, headliner, tool roll, owners manual, and floor-pan. 5-speed dogleg manual, slick top, period aftermarket a/c (currently not operational and haven't tired to fix it), and aftermarket Blaupunkt stereo. I just got it back from Porsche Gold Coast in Long Island to get it's Classic Certification which confirmed it has it's original motor and transmission, though I need to wait a couple of weeks before I receive the official documentation. Recent maintenance includes replacing the shifter bushings, gearbox fluid flush, new Michelin XWX tires, front and rear hood shocks, and new oil pressure sending unit. I drove it yesterday 250 miles for the NY PCA Porsche Trek 3 and the car performed flawlessly.

The car is located in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn and am selling b/c I also have a 1971 911T Targa and prefer the Targa experience over the coupe. New York transferable registration (too early for a NY Title). Please message me for an extensive icloud photo-album that I'll invite you to.

Thanks for looking and please reach out with any questions.

    Best,
    GregIMG_1841.jpgIMG_1768.jpgIMG_1751.jpgIMG_1738.jpgIMG_1742.jpgIMG_1745.jpgIMG_1730.jpgIMG_0443.jpgIMG_1654.jpg

Do you have any history, records, on the car under prior ownership? Was it always in NY/east coast? I would be interested in seeing the additional photos

Sorry didn't realize this finally got posted. The car was owned by the same family since 1977 in Wyoming. I have service history back about 8 years but unfortunately the original owner passed away and when they cleaned out his office, the service records went with it. You can reach me at my user name at aol and I also posted this on rennlist where I have a longer user history. Here's a link to 200+ photos of the car.

That car was local to me and I knew the late owner, Doug Coates. He had Parkinson's disease. A retired architect and super nice guy. He showed me the car in his garage and it appeared to have been sitting for some time due to his inability to drive it. His pride in it was obvious though. Always wondered what happen to it after he passed away. Best of luck in finding it a new home!

Thanks John, that's cool to know! It looks like around 2018 it spent time in Denver and had a bunch of work on the top end of the motor at Eurosport Auto in Arvada. There's a different name on the receipts which may be one of their children, but a couple of months ago I purchased the car from Doug's wife Roberta.

Looks like a nice honest car. Hope it stays local in the north east. Perfect car for fall drives …
