    Pressure Plate

    When replacing the clutch plate (73) should or must you also replace the pressure plate ?
    1968 911L Coupe - Golden Green

    It is common practice to replace both, its all about condition, check the reaction face and check for worn, parts and broken springs

    I bought a CIS T motor out of a barn, stored for 25 years. Carefully cleaned PP, checked contact surface with a straight edge, checked edges of fingers for release bearing wear, replaced the bearing and disc and installed it behind RS spec MFI 2.7 with no issues. It was my choice.
