Help: identify glove box lock parts

    Hi,

I am missing the parts on the back side of the glove box compartment door, which engages and locks into the door.
I have only the locking cylinder mounted and missing the rest of the mechanism.

I bought a new complete lock from porsche, (thinking that would solve the problem), but that lock looks like a later model lock (g model) and it does not fit plus the whole locking mechanism is different.
As far as I know, there is not possible to buy the lock new today.

Is there any hope to source my missing parts and can someone please explain to me what I am missing?
I`ll gladly pay for supplying the missing parts or for a new correct lock mechanism.

    The glovebox is from a MY 71 911 T.

Thank you so much for looking.

Is that the same lock as mine?

If so, it looks like three visible parts.
    1. black round tounge (plastic?)
    2. washer with four grooves (metal)
    3. securing pin (metal).

Domyou use the master key to open the glove box?

    Thanks,
    Andy
