Weight of an aluminum engine hood

I'm trying to find the approximate weight of an aluminum engine cover, maybe this will help someone looking for the same information later

Aluminum engine cover number 1: (installed on a standard 911)

    - the hood is painted
    - the 2.4L grille is removed (it is mounted on a 72, not original)
    - the P-O-R-S-C-H-E badges are installed
    - the 911S badge is installed
    - the license plate lighting lamps are installed
    - the electric cable supplying the lamps is installed
    - the hood is not damaged
    - the hood has not been repaired with putty
    - Original hood, this is not a remanufactured one

    Weight : 2850 grams/6,283 lbs

Aluminum engine cover number 2: (installed on a 911 "ST")

    - the hood is painted
    - fine grid installed type ST (100grams/0.22 lbs ?)
    - no P-O-R-S-C-H-E badges because ST car
    - the 911S badge is installed
    - the license plate lighting lamps are installed
    - the electric cable supplying the lamps is installed
    - the hood was damaged
    - the hood has been repaired with puty (300grams/0.66lbs ?)
    - Original hood, this is not a remanufactured one

    Weight : 3200 grams/7,054 lbs

I was looking for this information in order to acquire another aluminum hood, but I'm looking for one without putty on it, and to guess this easily, I ask the seller for the weight.

If you have an aluminum hood not installed and you can weigh it, do so and indicate the details as I did!

Today, I just happened to be repairing paint on a 1971 STEEL rear lid.

    Everything removed.
Only in primer with very minimal putty (maybe 3 ounces)

    Weight = 11.4 pounds.

I wondered what the differance was.

    Current long term ownership: 63 Cab, 71 911, 74 914

There is (was) an aluminum lid for sale on ESR. Seller shows it bare on a scale at 4 lbs 13 oz.
