    Mid-Rise Scissors Lift Recommendations

I am planning a second garage (24x30) and would like to install a mid-rise scissors lift recessed so when down and covered it is flush with floor. Plan to also use it as an adjustable height workbench. Looking for suggestions for brands of lifts to consider and any other advice folks might have. It will mainly be for a 1973 911E Targa, 2010 IM roadster, and 1963 Corvair Rampside.

    Thanks,

    Jim

Poke around over on PP. Someone there put in a recessed one but had to saw cut the floor. Since you're starting from scratch form it out from the start. Lay in conduit too. Adding a second would be cheap at that point, might use it, might not. Use sweep 90's, I learned the hard way. Go 24x40 if you can, I have one. The extra 10' will give you room for a bench and such.

Edit - make sure to use at least 3000 psi concrete with no fly ash. Another lesson I learned but at least I put a boat load of 1/2 rebar in.
