    Auction Description:

We are proud to offer this 1969 Porsche 911S Coupe for auction. Local enthusiasts may recognize this car from many local and regional shows. Most recently, the 2019 Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance. This car is in great shape and includes the Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche Cars North America, Inc. This certifies the Porsche, with VIN 119301388, has the original engine, number 6391971 and transmission, number 7198150. It certifies the original exterior paint, Light Ivory 6804 and the original interior material, Black Leatherette/Basketweave. It also features factory tinted glass and steering lock.

The car has been garaged for a few years due to the declining health of the owner. We had the car towed to the highly respected German Auto Service of Savannah, Georgia for inspection. The car checks out and is in good running condition. The front and rear brakes were replaced, as were both batteries. A complete inspection was performed on ball joints, suspension, brakes, drive line and tire wear. It was checked for oil leaks, under carriage damage or rust. The exterior was checked for paint and wreck-related damage. There were no major issues noted.

    The following issues were reported:

Chrome is pitted at the front brake caliper pistons
Right rear side marker is not working
Rear main seal has an oil leak
Engine is leaking oil from both cam towers
Sump pan is leaking and needs OE drain plugs
Heater cables at the dash are sticky
    Steering rack boots are cracking
Missing windshield washer bottle. ***NOTE, SINCE THEN, WE FOUND THE BOTTLE, NOT INSTALLED***
Hood hydraulics will not support open hood weight
One front light bezel is replaced and slightly different color
    Minor blemishes in paint
Please note, after sitting for 24 hours, only a dime-sized amount of oil was noted on the driveway. Issues are consistent with age and should be expected on a 1969 vehicle. The paint looks good with only a few minor blemishes. The interior is in good shape. The glove box is included but not installed. The tires are good. The car starts easily with a little pumping of gas. Shifting is smooth.
