If my memory serves me right, you don't have to remove the window frame, but to get the vent window out, I'm pretty sure you'll need to remove garnish rail and interior door panel unless the pivot pin at the bottom of the vent window pulls up and out but think you'll first need to loosen the pivot pin mounting bracket to do that? Getting the small nut back onto the top window pivot mount can be tricky.
