    W250P21 sparkplug gap

    Hi,

I am looking for suggestion on how I can gap them larger. I think they are not supposed to be adjustable gap. But would file down the ground electrode work?

I want to test if side ground electrode work better than the NGK BR8EIX bottom ground electrode.

    Thanks

Hello, the W250P plug is not meant to be gapped. If you try to file down the electrode, you'll probably destroy it.
Sorry, I'm not familiar with the NGK plug you mention, but if the "8" in the designation is the heat range, it's probably way too hot for a Porsche 911 engine.
    That's my 0.02 cents worth.
    Best,
    Mitch
