As the title says...
The front trunk upper latch that bolts into the hood with two bolts has an issue.
It appears that one of the captive nuts has sheared off, so I am unable to back out that bolt.
I found this while trying to align the upper latch.

What is the best plan?
1) Just leave as is.
2) Drill the bolt head out.
3) Dremel the bolt head off...this is how I'm currently leaning.
4) Another solution.

My 2nd problem is once I've removed the stuck bolt...how to secure a new bolt when there is no captive nut?
Can a "riv-nut" be used here.
Or do you need to somehow weld a new captive nut in place? Unsure how you'd even do this.
