    Question Lock Mechanism for 1970 911E

    Another question my 1970 911E. What does the original interior door lock mechanism look like? My 911 was made to look like a Carrera sometime I assume back in the 80s. As I am putting it back together, the lock it has is similar to an older 78 911SC I previously owned rather than my (first Porsche) 68 912. Did the 70 911 have the mechanism similar to the SC or the earlier long hoods?

    It seems as though 1970 was a transition year for many parts on the 911

    A 1970 interior door lock handle looks nothing like a 1968 or a 1978. A picture of what you have would be helpful.
