Hot air sealing rings - 90157291301

Ok, I give up on figuring out his these seals would fit my car (69’) I understand that they go around the hot air corrugated tubes where they pass into the trunk. The openings, at least on my car are sort of egg shaped and this seal is nowhere close to that. Any tips on how this might work would be greatly appreciated! John

The seals will conform to the opening shape. The flat goes towards the narrow edge of the hole.

My recent experience was that these rubber seals need to be “ firmly “affixed with glue ( and thoroughly dried ) as pushing heater tubes thru tend to deform rubber and lifts the rubber seal…

I use liquid dish soap to lube the rubber.
