    Part Number for 1968MY sportomatic Starter

    What is the part number for a 1968MY Starting motor for my 2.0l Sportomatic 911L with 905/00 transmission.
    Been told the Sporto starter is shorter than the manual version. Can anyone confirm this.
    I need one urgently and don't have the original.

    The starter is the same. Original including MY 1968 was Bosch 001212002 which is a bit shorter than the later Bosch 001212005. Both 0.8 hp.
