    Zim's MFI Fuel Pump Kit

Looking for a fuel pump for my 1972 that isn't $900. I've encountered a few used and allegedly rebuilt ones. I stumbled across this the other night. Not crazy about putting a non-OEM part on this car, but it is not going to be a concours car anytime soon. Just want a reliable, slightly above average driver to cruise around town in for the next few years. Anyone have experience with this product? Thanks.

Ordered this kit yesterday. Will try to update this thread with the installation experience. On a related note, we got the 1972 to fire up and run for a couple seconds with some gas from a bottle. First time sparking and running in 34 years.

Happy Thanksgiving eve everyone. Happy to report that Zim's fuel pump worked and (with a lot of help and many other new parts) the 1972 911 I picked up last August is again running and driving - after a 33 year hibernation. Look for it on the road in the Carolinas. I am truly excited.
