    Looking at spark plugs...rich, lean or ok ?

    911E, 1969 (2.0 MFI) spark plugs are NGK BP8ES, what do you think ?

    I don’t know how long they been in there.
    The ceramic part looks good.
    The small amount of soot suggest rich.

    I run bp 6 es , or bp 6 hs.

    8 might be too cold.
    I’m just thinking 6 would end up cleaner, less rich.

    8's are too cold for anything but racing. You want Bosch 5's or NGK 7's as the recommended plugs to try. 6's may be to far given that your ceramic looks good.

    Where do you live (weather wise?). You want a plug hot enough to burn off the soot, but cool enough to avoid preignition. 6's may be a bridge to far if you are in a hot climate.

    I live close to Bordeaux, France ; tempered climate by the Atlantic Ocean.

    I think Ed suggested in another post NGK BP7ES instead of 8...

    Four looks rich , maybe have the injector tested for that cylinder .
