    SFI/FIA certified vintage seats

My 3 year restoration of my 68 911L has light on the horizon of being completed by the end of the year. The car has comfort seats but I'd like to invest in some vintage seats that are certified for racing in SVRA or other historic events. What are you guys running for seats that will pass tech inspection? Pics for clicks

There is no "vintage" Seat that has SFI or FIA rating, there might be some "a bit vintage looking" seats that comply.

    H: Drivers Seat
Racing seats are strongly recommended that are SFI or FIA rated. Seats made primarily of plastic,
PVC, ABS, or other similar polymers are prohibited.
The driver’s seat and sliders if used must be securely mounted and braced. All mounting hardware
must be grade 8 or better with a minimum 2-inch diameter or larger steel plate or load bearing
washers when mounting to sheet metal.
Head rests are required. The head rest must extend above the midpoint of the helmet on the vertical
plane of the seat back in the normal driving position. Head rest must be a minimum of 36 square
inches. Head rest must be within 3 inches of the helmet when the driver is in the seat. Padding must
cover the head rest and it must be high density padding meeting SFI 45.2 specification.

    Hokie,
I needed something similar for competition and found nothing.
In the photo the passenger seat (LHS) is a BF Torino ST replica.
The drivers seat is a FIA compliant Velo (locally made) but I've had the inserts
    covered in the wool houndstooth.
The car has been scrutineered many times and I'ver never been pinged about the wool inserts

I've researched this in the past. I ended up with a non-FIA compliant seat as I won't be doing any door-to-door racing. However, this seat from OMP is FIA compliant and it is not as "flashy" as most other race seats out there.

Thanks guys. Those both look like good options. What did you use for seat rails/adapters?

No rails for me. Fixed seat mounts. Not sure, but I doubt you can have rails for competitive racing.
