    Speedometer Help

67 but probably 69 gauges that came with the motor. Disconnected the cable to the speedo and it spins freely. Best guess is the cable but haven't pulled it apart yet. Here's the Q's; how is that cable routed? Where to find one? This thread here on this site shows - nos speedometer cable 90147111201 for 90147111101 2442MM

11 month old thread and OP did not respond. Pics shown don't seem to match mine anyway. Speedo will go to Palo Alto anyway so the end is covered.

Memory is that cable length changed somewhere around wheel base change. SWB cable goes thru a more forward hole in the trunk floor.

Yes, it does. Comes up somewhere by the front battery, haven't pulled the carpet yet. Am hoping for a part # first. Guessing it comes through the tunnel. Contemplating using weed eater line to fish the old out and the new in. Duct tape might work but thinking a PEX clamp. PEX clamp is a smaller OD then a hose clamp, less binding in the tunnel. I am so looking forward to this.

As an aside we ran into a gentleman last week who owns, probably, the only old Brit car shop in our tri counties. Other than the E type on his flatbed there's a company who makes 2 post lifts for <2K. 25amp 110V. Been wanting something and might got that route.
