    I use a 185 70 R15, it might even be a 185 75 R 15. made by blockley.
for me, I would not be trying a 50 series tire on an older car.

    Current long term ownership: 63 Cab, 71 911, 74 914

What is the issue or concert about the 50 series? I don’t drive a lot and also only the city so I was wondering if the 50 series will do the job
    Thx

    What about 185/65R15?

You’ll need to measure the height and width of the tire you’re considering and then establish if it will fit in your wheel well. Ride height will be critical as well as camber.

It’s a very short tire. You will find your Speedo way off and the places you shift gears will be strange.
