Chassis Reinforcement - Heater Tube Removal and Rocker Reinforcement???

I am in the middle of a conversion of a 68 SWB car to a 911 R inspired car.

I will run electric heat, and want to reduce some weight from the car, so I am planning on removing the heater tubes. I have seen some pictures before of people reinforcing the rockers when they remove the heater tubes, but was hoping someone had some photos or could share some advice.

    Thanks.

Any other photos of chassis reinforcement or suggestions please throw them my way!

    Thanks!

You could consider reaching out to Brad Davis. He's been down this road and left some bread crumbs:
