Does Anyone have detailed drawings/photos of Targa Top seals?

My restored Targa Top doesn't fit correctly. I'm pretty sure that the problem is NOT the joints/hinges.

Someone has suggested that the seals were improperly sized or improperly installed. I'd really like to get this detail right.

I've checked a broad range of factory publications, but none so far have this level of detail.

Does anyone have photos of the targa top, and the seals (front, back, and side)?

And if some kind soul might have precise measurements of the fully extended top, I would be super appreciative.

These are from an unrestored known one owner super survivor 911T 1972.














New seals are a real mess, some way too hard and way too big.
(My guess is over the years, Porsche kept tweeking the shape to minimize noise and leaks)

What I do is cut out large amount of foam by hollowing out the seal. Where you can’t see the cuts.

I think your information might help me figure out why the top doesn't fit.

Could you give me a careful measurement of the front/back length of your targa top?
And the distance between the rear edge of the latch hole on the windshield frame and the front edge of the targa bar?
