    Upper door trip SWB 1968

    For 1968 model, this piece includes a small aluminum strip in the lower part.
    Is the part therefore specific for 68? Can the aluminum rod be added from another year?

    Yes its specific to 68 MY - I had my door tops retrimmed in Leather and they were slightly too thick to fit the rails ...

    68S and L only ....two versions of this door top exist..one with the 2tabs on the inside that slide in the door corpus and the later 68 without those
    the aluminum trim piece is the same as for 67S

    Is this aluminium trim piece can be add on a standard door corpus or does it require a specific small throat ?
