Sachs / Boge struts still around?

I've been reading about different suspension updates for SWB cars. The 912 is all new underneath, but I goofed and opted for Bilstein Sport struts in front and it is way too stiff.
Does anyone offer o.e. (softer) Sachs / Boge struts / shocks anymore?
All I'm finding is Koni, Bilstein, KYB.
If possible I'd like to keep my 65k mile '66 912 stock.
    Thanks
    Peter

Koni’s on their softest setting provides a nice ride. I have them in my 69’ 912 Targa and wouldn’t go any softer.

Yes, they are still around, widely available. Did you not do a search on the web? As a matter of fact, Boge, not Koni were installed on all of the early 911 Targas and 912 from the factory unless special ordered otherwise. There was a reason for this.

    JFP58: If I can't source the O.E. struts I'll try something else.

Jim: Yep, I did do a search here, pelican and 912bbs. Never saw an ad for Sachs or Boge. It is highly possible I was not exact enough on wording or some other mistake.
If you can point me toward a seller of the Sachs/Boges, starting there would be great.
    Thanks for the responses.

    Hi Jim,
if you know of a place that sells the Boge/Sachs struts please tell me who they are.
I've asked my usual places, they say they haven't carried them for many years.
    I appreciate the help.
    Thanks

You can get Koni Classic from PP or Von's from ER.

I put a pair of Von #2's on the rear of my 67 9/10/25. Those replaced the yellow Bil's with no #. Street use/stock go with the red 'Classic' Koni.

Ptr, your options are extremely limited, trust me. I've got a full 912 strut and brake setup here if you want it. Calipers rebuilt 2022 and I'd let those go for 1/2 of what I have into them for a good home. Just sitting on a shelf here after a Boxster upgrade.

Koni/Boge are interchangeable - the Koni inserts for the front struts work great for my 912.
