900.031.006.40 - NLA fibre washer for interior centre tunnel cover

Has anyone found an accurate alternative for the above part number? I appreciate it is 'only a washer' but being of a different material and in a more visible part of the car, I would like to try and get something that looks correct.

Would this part work for your application? part number 99970415740.

I used these with the fender washers.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think (but happy to be proved wrong) that they are actually a light coloured fibre (in the Parts Catalogue described as "Preßspan") washer something like in the photo below (believe this is original and the colour difference is due to the camera); although seems strange that they would choose something of that colour to go on a black part in the interior?

I assume you're wanting the red fiber washers. There is always an assortment of red fiber washers in carb rebuild kits.

Not an area in which I have any knowledge or expertise. But the old List of new Porsche Spare Part Numbers document list that part as a 5,3 Pertinax washer, DIN 433. Perhaps it can be sourced as a generic part with that information.

    Thanks for all the input.

What we could really do with is someone who has an original they could post a picture of to help narrow down the search, anybody?

    Fibre washers

Here you go. Indeed a fibre washer - O.O. is 9mm, I.D. is 5mm, and thickness is 1mm.
