    Early tach signal indicator

Am I correct that a very early tach signal indicator is operated by a single wire? Not blk/green and black/white but just a blue/white. Thanks.

    Blue/white is high beam indicator.

The harness I am using is for a 1/65 production and it mirrors a harness I took from a 12/64 production. It is from Y&Z's. The high beam indicator wire is white/blue. There is a blue/white wire with the instruction that it is for the turn indicator. At some point Porsche went to blk/white and blk/green, and that works with a tach with two indicator lights. Since the 356 and 914 just had one indicator light, I wonder if the early 911 was the same? I do not have the original tach.

I have been advised that the earliest gauges had a single indicator light. Looking for confirmation...and maybe a gauge. Thanks.
