'72 Only Oil Line 911.107.720.01 Two Piece?

The parts book and online retail show this as a one piece part, but this must be two pieces, right? Otherwise, why the hex fitting where the smaller aluminum line meets the large fitting/rubber line? There is oil seeping out where the rubber attaches to the large aluminum fitting. If that rubber/with aluminum fittings part is a separate piece then I would think it is either available new or repairable and I would avoid having to remove the heat exchanger, yes? Thanks

Those are assembled hoses. U can get new hose and rebuild those if u can get them apart. Disassembly sometimes gauls the fine threads rendering them useless. New replacement hoses will have crimped ends. Here are some rebuilt hoses.

Those are re-useable fittings. The hex is part of the oil line, so the barrel and the hose will unscrew from the hex nut. The other end is also a re-useable so these early hoses were rebuildable with new hose, no need to buy the whole works. You could even disassemble, cut off an 1/8th" from either end and reassemble and the hose would reseal on the new ends.

Agree with comments - you want to reuse these fittings as they are superior to the modern fittings and are cool to keep as they have date codes on them for authenticity. Brad Davis offers replacement lines to use with your fittings. I have a '72 as well and used Brad to rebuild my line.
