Essen Classica April 9-12 2025 Germany

Who is planning on attending? I have never been to the show and it is on my bucket list. I have a group of 3 coming from American.
    Thanks Tate

On Sunday April 13th, you might want to add the Porsche Center Gelderland International Collectors Day 2025 (swap meet) to your trip: https://www.porschecentrumgelderland...ctors-day-8508
I will be there. Not sure yet whether I can go to Essen.

I think this is the last one. It has diminished in size the last 5 years or so. Probably as a result of the internet and the rival Stuttgart show.

    ESSEN, 25 September 2024:

"For years, Techno-Classica in Essen has guaranteed a lot of classic car fun. Next year (2025) will be the last edition, it turns out. But there is also good news, as there will be a successor.

It has been a household name for many years: Techno-Classica in Essen. A classic car fair that, as a lover of old cars, you really must have visited once in your life. Next year will be the last edition, Messe Essen now announces. That sounds worse than it is. The classics will simply return to Essen in 2026, but under a new name. From then on, it will be called Retro Classics Essen, as they will enter into a collaboration with the Retro Classics show and trade fair already organised in Stuttgart.

The set-up will remain largely the same, so you can simply marvel at classics again. However, the two halls where you normally find the Classic & Prestige Salon of Techno-Classica will from then on be used for other parties from the automotive and tuning industry. The last Techno-Classica in Essen for the time being will take place next year from 9 to 13 April in Messe Essen. A year later, in 2026, it will then be the turn of Retro Classcis Essen at the same location. That fair will take place in the same period, from 8 to 12 April."

I was yesterday in Essen and found it less animated than before.
Still a lot of 911’s for sale. Looks also that some brands have more cars for sale than they sell new….
