    Can this be repaired?

can the roof on this 65 912 be replaced ? It’s my father’s and I want to restore it….but I’m not sure if I can save the roof or it just be replaced entirely. I can provide more photos if needed. Thanks

I’ve seen worse come back to life but whether it’s economically sensible is the question.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

Damon Josz (Series 900) is a fair hand at bringing back the dead.. A while back (a couple of years), he sent pictures of a "pancake roof" car after we had a roll bar conversation. This week I received photos of the car coming out of paint. Stellar work.

    Good luck.

Look carefully, and we see there is much more needing significant (costly, highly technical) attention than just the roof. What would other photos show?
