    Hi,

Indeed, the TB15s are a bit expensive.

Here are the Toyo Tires Proxes R888R:

    The front is 215/50Z R15 88W
The rear is 225/45Z R15 91W (not entirely sure about the other parameters, but it's definitely 225mm)

"The PROXES R888R is a semi-slick sports tire with an asymmetrical tread pattern. This tire is street-legal and can therefore be used on both roads and tracks.
The tire offers good grip. on dry surfaces and good handling characteristics.
    Safety Instructions
The tire should not be stored or driven in temperatures below 10 degrees."

I've never had any problems with these tires; they've performed equally well on track and road, and I've never had any major issues. I might say they heat up a little too quickly, but that's fine for occasional use.

I am a big fan of the Toyo R888R and on my hot rod with 8” and 9” Fuchs I use sizes 225/50/15 Front and 235/50/15 Rear. I don’t think 215/50/15 is even an available size.

I have used both the R888R and RA1's as "rain" tires/treaded tires on my S/T and would recommend either for general street use. I prefer the R888R's, though I can't pretend I am the kind of skilled driver who can expand on the fine differences.
