is there a cheaper alternative for Michelin XWX????

The Michelin's XWX's are written about in several magazines as the period correct tire to get for the early 911's (it seems they were fitted with them then also). It is nice they are being produced again, however they run at 274 bucks a piece (coopers)........... Does anybody know of good (and cheaper) alternatives to michelin in the tire size 185/70hr15?

Don't know if they're available in the US, but you can get Fulda Y2000 tyres here in Europe in 185/70VR15 sizes:
