    need info for solex carbs

    A while back someone said there was someone who knew solex carbs well and knew how to set them up. I can't find the thread. Please help. I believe the persons name started with a B. Thaks

    I don't suppose you could mean Bruce Anderson? Bruce speaks highly of the Solex carb but I don't know that he's offering services.

    Exactly what do you mean by "set up?" Are you trying to rejet for best performance with new cams, or just tune the things on a stock engine?

    If you're just doing routine adjustment, follow the directions in the shop manual. It's not too hard to get decent results.
