    Dash repair

I have a dash with just one small flaw. I have attached a picture to show it's location and size. My question is, what do you guys advise?

    1. leave as is, it only gets worse if you try to fix it.
    2. repair it. Tips?

Since it's so nice I am afraid of messing it up, however if I could make that small 'invisable' ..

    Thanks,

    Richard

tough call. I notice this dash doesn't have a removable speaker grille...the year of your 911? If it was a cracked dash, and original, I wouldn't hesitate to suggest: www.justdashes.com

It's a 65/66 dash (fact is that I have not found a nice early 911 yet, just collecting the parts. Any one know of a solid SWB).

I am wondering if you can warm it up (with a hair blower) and get some slicone or something alike underneath, the dimple would be gone. I would like to hear from those who have been there.

On the other hand it's not visible from inside the car (it curves down/ away) so I am kind of cautious messhing it up.

I think one of those vinyl repair kits would work well in this application.
Permatex makes one you can get at many auto parts stores.
