    replacement seating?

One client recently expressed dissatisfaction with "stock" seats on long rides with his 72 911. Having little experience with economically priced seating, it there anyone who could advise us on comfortable replacements. Someone suggested D.A.D seating at about 600 the set. thanks Mark

    Seat foam

Hello: I had a customer that complained about the stock seats as well. All I did was add 1" closed cell foam to the bottom and the back. It is a light green colored foam. You have to cut the edges at about 45 degrees to stop you from seeing the foam edges. I did the back as well. This made the seat great for long trips, how about 800 miles in one day. I would try this first, if you can do this yourself it will cost about $15.00 in foam. Good luck. Thanks Eric

    foam inserts

These particular seats were "rebuilt" prior to his purchasing the car. they seem rather "soft" and compliant. this would create the necessity of disassembly of seats and re-springing them ect, all would be costly and my goal was to reduce the costs as much as possible by instituting a new design seating arrangement. thanks-mark
