There's a black/yellow model that was originally Gulf Blue.
911 360 0784 (6930117 1034972) Hahn/Schouten Gulf Blue. Gearbox N° 931026. Built 4/73. Now right-hand drive, . . Restored at 7500 km by Alan Hamilton and sold to Bob Jane. Sold 1989 to Fisher ,.raced in australia. Now black with yellow wheel centres. Sold to Kampmann in Belgium. auction London on 29/3/93.
I think only two were black to begin with:
911 360 0885 (6930128 1036420) Kersten. Black. Gearbox N° 931033. Built 3/73. Clemens. 1996: sold to Philippe Aunay July 1997: sold to Michael Burtt. restored.
911 360 0940 (6930133 1035648) Brumos Black. Gearbox N° 931036. Built 4/73. crashed at Bridgehampton .Chassis bought in 1994 and reconstructed with parts .2001 Monterey Auction.
And two originally sold to the Kremer brothers:
911 360 0610 (6930103 1034513) Schultz/Kremer GP White. Gearbox N° 830626. Built 3/73. 15/4/73 .1000 Km Dijon : 10th OA, Fitzpatrick/Keller. 4/73 Nurburgring: N° 110, DNF/1 race. 1st /2 race . . Fitzpatrick. Montlhery: Schickentanz 1st /2 race . Imola: Schickentanz 2nd. Nivelles: Schickentanz 1st /2 races. Estoril: Keller/Schickentanz 1st and 2nd. (3 litre ). Thruxton: Shickentanz 3rd, Keller 4th. Hockenheim: Schickentanz 2nd /race 1 and 4th /race 2 (2nd OA). Monza 6-hours: Schickentanz/Keller 1st, Kremer/Neuhaus 2nd. Clemens . sold to Carlos Bolanos. Sold to a guy named Mike.

I agree with obrut the Kremer car is #885 and was owned by Michael Burtt in 1999 when the article was done. It had been restored by Siggi Brun.
I take it the 59 Garrard car is #705 the Peter Gregg / Haywood Bumos Sebring winner from 1973 that was restored by Gunnar Racing in 2000/ 2001

#940,WAS CRASHED AT BRIDGEHAMPTON AS POSTED THE CAR WAS SPLIT IN HALFand the driver killed(so I've been told) THE ENGINE WUND UP IN A rs THAT BBILL Noon sold to Rennman few months back
#940 has a VERY weird story....![]()
But, it WAS the black car (or part of it) Revson drove to a first heat win at the Glen..
Did allot of homework awhile back on #940 for a possible sale to a friend...
The more I looked, the weirder it got...![]()
