    Hi Phil,

I just completed my interior too.

The correct sequence is necessary (I too like the shifter above the carpet, but did not do that). I have that in a Word document if you would like me to email it to you.

I used a brush and Weldwood contact cement instead of the 3M spray. It took over two quarts!! Stoddard says in their catalog that three quarts are necessary. I did not believe them, but that was correct.

I renewed all my rubber seals around the doors and used Dynamat for the sound deadening. They sell a six sheet package on their web site that I purchased.

The little "tags" on the end of some of the carpet is for tucking into the rear quarter fender vinyl area and the door metal strips on the inside of the door opening.

I did not glue in the front shifter carpet, so I could remove that area for working on the cables.

I used a Pelican plastic floor board and the standard plywood floorboards to hold down the edges of the shifter carpet.

It has been mentioned elsewhere that a leather shift boot and leather emergency brake cover improve the looks, but I had already purchase rubber ones. That would make a nice upgrade for you!

    Good luck, Tom
