1966 Headlight bucket wiring

Hello fellow listers:

This may be the dumbest question yet??

I am wiring the headlights (three wires without connectors) and the turn signals.

The metal "L" pipe takes all the wires into the headlight bucket, right?? The wires seem long enough to do that.

But, how do I wire the turnsignals??

I thought the one hole in the bottom of the turnsignal bucket was for the rubber drain, but all I can think of, is that hole takes the turnsignal wires and places them into the back of the turnsignal housing.

Help!!

All the wires come up through the bottom of the headlight bucket at the tube. Three wires go to the headlight, and the remaining go back down through the other hole in the bottom of the headlight bucket. At least if memory serves correctly...

Then the rubber drain goes into the turnsignal slot, not in the headlight bucket!!
