    Question vinyl dash repair

I have just repaired some small scratches in my dash using a repair-it vinyl repair kit, but I still see the difference between the fresh vinyl and the original dash vinyl. Will Hide Food work to get an even finish? Other products that can be used, like vinylex from Lexol, other options, experiences?

    Thanks,

    Cees

You could always spray this over the dash:

Depending on how far away from the object you hold the can while spraying, you can get everything from high gloss to matte finish. Takes some touch, but it works very well. I'd rub the dash down in plastic paint primer before doing this to make sure it adheres as well as possible. Never done it to a Porsche dash, but have used the product enough to feel confident in the results.

    dash spray

    Thanks Kenik,

Might be an option, although I doubt it I can buy this stuff in Europe. Does a vinyl dye exist?

    Cheers,
