does any one know the ref #,s for the roof rack and ski rack ?
Three different versions of the roof rack that I'm aware of and in possesion. some chrome, some zinc plated.. same part #
901.801.010.00
Ski rack coupe 901.801.015.20 and there's a Targa version as well..
Add'ed to all that were the extra red and Black leather straps,, plus the interior luggage straps,,, part #,,, it dosn't matter, it's all NLA from Porsche for way over 10 years now anyway..
Its all rare cool stuff.
Robert..
Robert, your Albert Blue coupe is becoming one of my favorites on this board - such a beautiful color combination and optimal mechanicals and options.
A couple of authenticity questions, as I now own a mostly original '71T that I'm trying to get more original. First, is the three vertical support line engine lid grille original to your '70 - I'm thinking my '71 is supposed to have a 5 support grille.
Second, is the 2.2 sticker with red lettering original - mine and Rennman's both seem original and have grey 2.2 lettering.
Thanks for any insights. Keep the Albert car just as it is.

1973 911T - Light Ivory Sporto, now Glacier Blue RS 3.5
Dr. J's book says 5 support bars for 70/71 and 2.2 sticker was orange, maybe yours just faded

I'm still third owner for the car,,, bought it in 82'... Questioned the grill my self ,, asked the previous owners way back when and they claimed it was never changed ... Its a very early car,, chassis 062...
Normally 70' is 5 bar but i'll assume Porsche used up some of the reserves from 69 into the new model year 70'... . So as far as I'm concerned,, it stays for this car..
Concerning the decal... I removed the original back in 84'.. It was yellowed and very brittle, but the 2.2 was red.. Replaced with original from Porsche at the time. My old original 71' T thats off to Clyde Boyer still has still its petina'd original.
The grey numbers 2.2 is not original. Secondly,, the 2.2 is in the wrong font on that decal,, thirdly the 2.2 is too big from the oriiginal,, over extending the valve covers... ..Hope that helps..
The Albert car,,,, only modifications are the flares, 2.8L and rim's. Have no plans to change it what so ever.. It been like that for over 20 years..
Thanks again,, Robert..
