    Trunk Seal question

Replaced the trunk seals on my 70E.

On the seal that sits in the front section of the hood, which way is the
channel of the seal supposed to face? On the seal I removed the channel
was facing towards the front of the car, as pictured on this Blue Targa 72.
Looking at the pics of the Willhoit 68 Coupe the seal channel is positioned
facing away from the car(towards the driver)
    Which one is correct ??

The channel should face the front of the car.

Thats what I figured...makes sense to keep water out.
Tan 68 obviously had a seal replaced along the way...

    thanks !
