Looking for weber 46 brass screens for jets

A while ago there was a post regarding a list member making brass screen covers for the "tops" of weber carbs to go in between the air trumphets. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

    Thanks-
    Jim

Randy, I think Jim meant the little screens over the air correction jets, like John showed above, not the big screens for the air horns that were made from tea strainers. A search on "Peets" will bring up the thread you seek, Jim:

    tom -

you hit it on the head - the very last picture of the "peet" thread shows the mesh covers on the air correction tubes. For those of you with weber 40's...the 46's do not have the vertical tubes coming from the top of the carbs - just an orfice which will catch all types of contaminants unless there is a mini screen.

Did anyone end up making these?

    Thanks guys.
