According to Peter Morgan's book Original Porsche 911 it is from a 1973 911S.

...it's lost it's original mfi though.

Unfortunately Jason said he is looking for a '72 S motor. He has a '73 S motor in a '72 S chassis.

Yes, we need a 72 "S" Case
First three are"632" Type 911/53
Would even consider buying a complete motor. The goal is to bring the car back to originality, bare metal resto back to original color.
It’s amazing how many forgery “S” Cases are out there.
I will post the before and after restoration process on this car when we are finished.
