I was at Autosport Design yesterday and saw the car. I am actively looking for a 73 911 and I am seeing this kind of thing on E bay a lot. It is not limited to Porsches. I have an all original 1970 442 W-30. I am keeping track of what they are going for and I see this same thing happening with them. It's probably happening with all kinds of cars.

Not the brightest of scammers, using a 911T VIN in his "S" listing on eBay...

Here is the Email I just received from him:

I'm really sorry for this late reply but I've been very busy lately and away from a computer. The car is located in Pasadena, MD in excellent running and body condition, no flaws on it or any other mechanical problems. It has a clear title and it will be signed and notarized on your name as soon as the payment will be completed.
Regarding the payment I am aware of the buyer's protection and we will use Ebay's motors vehicle purchase protection program which will hold the payment until you receive the car. If you are interested you will be asked to make a deposit equal to 25% from the buy it now price of $12,000 which means $3,000. By sending your deposit to eBay you are not buying the car ,is just the way the program works (and in case you buy the car it will give you a 1 month/1000 miles guarantee). However, it is 100% refundable in case the car is not as described.
If you are interested please provide me the following informations necessary to take a decision :
-your full name and address for shipping
    -your phone #
-any negative feedback and if so .... for what reason .

    Thank you ,

    Goerge Bigail
