Karl,
I have one....this is what you need right...
John
I believe so. Not having one, I am not sure how much it differs from the 911E script on the decklid, as mine was always absent.
Any ideas?
John, appreciate the help.
sent you a PM.
Thanks.

just as a reference point the engine lid badge for both the 911S and the 911E are 137mm wide and the glove box lid is 87mm for the 911S. I would expect the 911E would be ths same size. Could you verify that John?

Last year for the glove box model designation was 1971 according to the book.
Thanks guys ... I can now divert the 911E Emblem Funds to something else, such as gold lettering for the PORSCHE and 911E on my decklid as presently they are silver in color!
Hijacking my own post here, or rather moving onto another related topic, does one purchase new gold letters or is there particular type of respraying that is done, and how long does it last?
Karl.

Here is a compairison of the glove box one (911-E) and the deck lid one (911-T)
I think the glove box one came off a 70'

Karlusmagus, the emblems on the deck lid should be black if you want your car to be period correct for 1973, if yours are a flat silver they most likely just faded, if you take one of them off the underside is most likely still black. This is also true if you have a 1972 car also. Also would like to see a picture of your 1973 2002tiiJIM
