Porsche screwdrivers - no 10,000 volts?

Is MSRaodrace smoking crack or am I just missing the boat:

He says these drivers are NOS Porsche, but don't have the 10,000 volt stamped on them. What gives?

That's Dave Buhain of msroadrace fame. He is very fond of his parts. I have never bought anything from him, as I have always been able to find what I need for less elsewhere, but I have met him at the track and swap meets. He does come up with some rare NOS stuff, and if you really need something like that in a hurry, sometimes he is the only game in town with the goods at the time. He has provided parts at the track to keep people running when they break, also, but I do know that he has charged "trackside support" prices for those spares as well, which may be worth it if you're going to miss a $150 track day. I wouldn't say he is dishonest, don't know about the radio or the screwdrivers, but he is proud of his stuff and in it as a business.

This is his 993 Cup car. It's for sale, too.

    MSRoadrace & Screwdrivers

He may be right about the screwdrivers. See my recent post:

I have dealt with him a number of times. Usually expensive, in touch with some nice NOS parts. I did return one of the funky ill-fitting dashes that we discussed here and he refunded my money.

Cool; just looking for clarification of what is right and if these are indeed correct.

    Dave's a good guy.

He has a lot of RARE stuff ... if you're in the market for a 2.0-liter twin plug distributor and high butterfly throttle bodies/stacks, he has 'em on the shelf.
