Looking for a Brumos license plate frame for my '69 911. Anyone have one they would part with? My car was sold there new.
I read they still sell a metal frame. Anyone know if it looks the same as the early ones?
Thanks.

Yes, they still have them. I don't think they've changed them in 40 years. Still metal, red background behind the lettering. Nice folks, they gave me a pair last year just for asking, and I wasn't even in a 911 when I stopped in. I'm sure you'll have no problem getting a couple from them for a car that they originally sold.

Yup Tom, that's it exactly. Now, the Peter Gregg dealership frame, that's a much tougher one to come by....

I was just there. They will not sell them but they gave me one.

Sweet. I will give them a call and try to talk them out of one.
thanks!

I called them in 2000 when I got my '87 Carrera and asked about buying a frame. I had checked the website, and they were not for sale. The service manager said he would send me a pair. I asked "What do I owe you?" and he said "Nothing".I never forgot that...

Byron,
Please extend a warm hello to Frank and Buddy. I always admired the Brumos race cars, livery, and dedication to the marque. I wanted a cool frame that would mean something to "those in the know" for my new to me Carrera, and the Brumos frame was perfect.
I was really impressed by such a jesture, especially this day in age. I had never bought a single thing from them, but that sure made me want to!
Bravo Brumos!
